Short explanations, Chapter V

Topological unzipping and the speed limit

RSI holds that at light speed a knot's internal spin would stop, letting the Universal Clamp unzip it into a photon.

RSI offers a mechanical reason why matter cannot reach the speed of light. As a particle is pushed toward c, its internal helical path stretches without limit, and the knot shortens along its motion without limit.

If the matter-knot reached exactly c, all of its internal velocity would go into linear motion. Its internal rotation would drop to zero. Without that spin, the knot could no longer hold its pressure boundary against the Eternal Consonance. The 0.73 N Universal Clamp would crush the structure, and the 720-degree lock would fail.

The knot would then unzip, dissolving into a linear, high-frequency photon (gamma radiation) and merging back into the Rest-State. In RSI, matter cannot reach the speed of light because doing so would unravel the very geometry that makes it matter.
