Short explanations, Chapter IV

The unzipping of the electron-knot

RSI reads electron-positron annihilation as two knots of opposite spin unwinding back into the medium and releasing their energy as gamma rays.

RSI points to electron-positron annihilation as observed evidence of matter unzipping. A positron is the electron's antimatter counterpart. In the theory, the two do not simply collide. Their opposite vortical spins cancel, and the local stalls in the field resolve. The matter does not vanish into nothing. Its form dissolves back into the Eternal Consonance.

This resolution releases all of the knot's stored inversion energy as high-frequency field vibrations, which are gamma-ray photons. RSI states that the energy of these events, and of the mechanical fatigue seen in beta decay, matches the work-energy calculation of the 0.73 N clamp. On this basis, the theory holds that annihilation is the phase transition of a knot returning to the Rest-State.

RSI draws a broader point. The force holding matter together is not an abstract string tension in hidden dimensions. It is a tangible tension comparable to everyday forces. Matter is a knot of kinetic energy waves held in check by 0.73 newtons.
