What RSI reconciles
The narrative gathers RSI's claims into one list, from the four forces and the 1836 mass ratio to singularities, the CMB and the Big Bang.
RSI does not propose to replace Maxwell's equations or Einstein's relativity. The narrative stresses that Maxwell wrote his equations for a medium and was certain it existed. Physics kept the equations and set the medium aside. RSI proposes to restore that context: to give the equations "a medium, a mechanism, and a physical reason for why they work."
From that foundation, the narrative lists what RSI claims to reconcile:
- The four fundamental forces, unified as one field pressure at different scales.
- The proton-to-electron mass ratio, given geometrically as 6π⁵ ≈ 1836.118, against a measured 1836.152.
- The Vacuum Catastrophe, explained as the structural stiffness of the field, energy that cannot do local work because it is the medium in which all local work occurs.
- Dark Matter, replaced by the low-pressure heart of each galaxy's vortex in the medium.
- Dark Energy, reread as a balance between the breathing of the medium's folds and the pressure slope of its toroidal circulation.
- The 1.75 arcsecond bending of starlight, derived through refraction.
- The Axis of Evil, as the thermal signature of the universal torus.
- E = mc², as the energy cost of holding a knot against the 0.73 N tension.
- The Fibonacci spiral of life, the abundance of even-numbered elements, and the lithium problem.
- Singularities, which a medium with finite yield strength cannot produce.
- The Cosmic Microwave Background, as the steady glow of the medium, and the Big Bang, reread as the trough of a breathing medium rather than the beginning of all things.
"We have mapped the behavior of the universe with breathtaking precision for a hundred years. RSI is the proposition that it is time to understand what the map is actually a map of."
